Emilie has had a distinguished tennis career including a USTA women’s national singles rating in the top 100 and USTA women’s national doubles ranking in the top 12. Recently she has focused on developing competitive tennis players privately while coaching at the San Antonio Christian School.
Emilie graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. She went on to Arizona State University where she coached the women’s tennis team to a national championship, Texas Tech University where she coached the women’s tennis team, and Trinity University where she coached the women’s team resulting in two NCAA Division I finals.
She has also served on the Nike Advisory Board and Head Racquet Advisory Board. She has received the Marian Philbrick Award for Contribution to Tennis, the U.S.T.A. National Tennis Foundation Education Merit Award, the Volvo National Service Award, and has been inducted into the Lubbock Christian University Athletic Hall of Honor, Trinity University Athletic Hall of Fame, and the National Collegiate Tennis Hall of Fame.
